How it works…
Weekly Private Session
One on one time with your music mentor on your instrument- this give you the chops you need learn your part and go deeper in understanding your instrument. (45 min)
Weekly Band Session
Weekly band session led by 2 music mentors- this is when all the parts come together and you learn how to jam, and work on a curated set list in preparation for Groove Gathering. (90 min)
Band Show
Groove Gathering is where all the bands in our program form one epic lineup. Hosted at the coolest spots in Brooklyn, past venues include Roberta’s Bushwick and Juneshine in Williamsburg. This is the moment when the most important learning happens: how to play to an audience, and how to be present in performing!
